Counselling, Supervision & Wellbeing services in Ivybridge and Online

Hi, my name is Kerry and I am a qualified integrative counsellor and supervisor working with all ages in Ivybridge, South Devon.  I have a specialism in working with young people and working with clay.

For those wanting to talk to someone in-person, I work from my dedicated home work space and via walk and talk at a local park.  I also work online via zoom and WhatsApp and via email.

Have a look around my website to get to know me a little better and get in touch for a chat to see how I can help you.

I offer counselling for a range of different issues and can help and support you through the following:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Bereavement

  • Loss

  • Life transitions

  • Neurodivergence

  • Identity

  • Self Harm

  • Family issues

  • Work problems

  • School issues

  • Bullying

  • Difficult relationships

  • Self Esteem & Self Worth

My aim is for us to build our relationship together in a safe and trusting environment so that you feel supported and confident to work through the difficulties you are having.

Frequenty Asked Questions

Q: How many sessions will I need?

A: The number of sessions someone needs will vary on the persons individual circumstances and can change throughout the work we together but I am always happy to talk about goals and expectations.

Q: How often do I have to come?

A: That is entirely up to you... I have people who attend weekly, fortnightly and even monthly and encourage you to do what feels right for you.

Q: How confidential is what we say?

A: What we talk about is completely confidential between us but there are a few exceptions to this around, mostly around safety, and I will run through this with you both in our initial meeting and our first session together.

Q: What if we don't get on or I feel you don't understand me?

A: This is a common worry and one that rarely happens, however it can sometimes be worth having an initial chat with a few counsellors so you get a good feel for if you would like to work with them.  The relationship is really important to the work that you do together.
